Aminou Daiba
Interested in economic policy, Aminou holds a master I in economic and financial engineering and a master II in banking and monetary macroeconomics. In the fall of 2021, he will complete a master’s degree in economics at UQAM’s School of Management (ESG UQAM). He received a bursary from the Macroeconomics and Forecasting Chair of ESG UQAM and is working on the impact of monetary policy and macroeconomic uncertainty on the Canadian economy.
Aminou is interested in macroeconomic topics, which leads him to conduct research on monetary and budgetary policy in order to better understand and analyze their impacts on the different sectors of the economy. In his free time, he likes to discover new places, and he has a keen interest in new technologies and computer gadgets. He joined the MEI team in August 2021 for a three-month internship.
