Eric Boyko Joins the Montreal Economic Institute Board of Directors

Montreal, March 24, 2006 – The Chairman of the Montreal Economic Institute (MEI), Adrien D. Pouliot, is pleased to announce that Eric Boyko has been named to the MEI board of directors.

Eric Boyko is the founder and President of eFundraising.com Corp., a Montreal-based company whose mission is to offer non-profit groups a wide selection of fundraising products at competitive profit margins. In 2003, eFundraising.com was named the 10th fastest growing company in Quebec, after developing an online fundraising program unique in its industry.

Mr. Boyko graduated from McGill University with honours in Accounting and earned his CGA title in 1997. He is a member of the Young Entrepreneur’s Organization (YEO) and the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and serves on the boards of YPO Quebec, Cyber-Cap, as well as Redex. He is also an active philanthropist, having climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua and Denali to raise funds for the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease.

Mr. Boyko joins current board members Daniel Audet, Richard Carter, Stéphan Crétier, Hélène Desmarais, Daniel Dorey, Marcel Dutil, Michel Kelly-Gagnon, Léo-Paul Landry, Normand Lebeau, Ronald Monet, Jean-Pierre Ouellet, Adrien D. Pouliot, and Yves Rabeau.

The Montreal Economic Institute is an independent, non-profit, non-partisan economic research and educational institute. The MEI participates in debates on Quebec and Canadian public policy by providing wealth-generating solutions, primarily in areas of taxation, regulation, health and education reform.
