Health Care Transformation: We can do better!

The Canadian Medical Association believes that Canada’s health care system must be refocused to improve access and care for patients. It is time to stop saying why we can’t build an accountable and efficient system and instead focus on working together to find the tools that will help us get the job done.

CMA President Dr. Robert Ouellet outlined directions that could help build a “made-in-Canada” patientfocused health care system that could be the envy of the world. With a focus on action and not ideology, this vision presents solutions that are from both here in Canada and in European countries.
