Romel Dhalla

Romel Dhalla is the Managing Partner of Blumont Business Acquisition LP, specializing in the acquisition of well-established, succession-challenged SMEs in the industrial sector. In addition, Romel serves as an investor and director at Jasper Vocal AI, a technology start-up innovating in AI-driven client engagement, initially for the insurance sector. Formerly, he was a Dealing Representative with a Toronto-based private equity firm, and spent 17 years in wealth management as a Chartered Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor with two major Canadian financial institutions.

Romel’s extensive board experience includes service on the University of Manitoba, St. Boniface Hospital, Cancer Care Manitoba, and Special Olympics Manitoba (Honorary). He is also President of the Indo-Canada Business and Professionals Association and has supported capital campaigns for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, amongst others. Romel was recognized as a Top 50 Under 50 Aspiring Indo-Canadian at an event by the Indian High Commission in 2023 and received his alma mater’s Distinguished Alumni Award for Service in 2019.
