Josée Morissette

Josée has many years of experience in media relations and communications. She worked for nearly 15 years as a researcher and host for talk radio in Quebec. More recently, she spent four years working in federal and municipal politics.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from Laval University, and is currently completing a Specialized Graduate Diploma (DESS) in public relations.

As Senior Advisor, Media Relations, Josée is in charge of ensuring the visibility of the MEI, its researchers, and their publications. She is the contact person for the media, and is responsible for the coordination of the Institute’s communications and the promotion of its products and activities.

Passionate about communications, travel, politics, and sports, Josée has built a reputation as someone who is devoted, present, and rigorous in her work. A bundle of energy, in her free time she likes to read, walk, run, shop (a little too much), and cook. She worked with the MEI team from December 2021 to November 2022.
