MEI Economist Maria Lily Shaw presented the lessons that can be learned from the extensive health reforms undertaken in Sweden and the UK that favoured the liberalization of their respective health care systems. This one-hour presentation was an opportunity to learn more about what can be done in Quebec and BC to help cure what ails our health systems, and the role that entrepreneurs and free-market principles can play in their overhaul.
