Should free trade agreements focus exclusively on trade, or should they on the contrary include clauses on issues like the protection of workers, the environment, or the rights of minorities? Should Donald Trump’s approach to international trade be a source of inspiration for governments in other countries, in order to protect workers and businesses? These are some of the themes that were debated during this 3rd edition of the IAN SOUTAR Lecture Series.
