Cynthia Ramsay
Health Economist and Consultant
Cynthia Ramsay is a Vancouver-based health economist and consultant. She has worked at both Statistics Canada and the Fraser Institute. She has written more than 100 articles, briefs, and papers on health care. Her latest book is Beyond the Public-Private Debate: An Examination of Quality, Access, and Cost in Health-Care Systems of Eight Countries (2001). She also recently produced a report (forthcoming) for the Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada (Romanow Commission).
