Jacob Sullum is a senior editor of Reason, a monthly public policy magazine. His articles also appeared in the National Review, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Times and the Los Angeles Times. Jacob Sullum is the author of the bestseller For Your Own Good: The Anti-Smoking Crusade and the Tyranny of Public Health (1998), as well as Saying Yes: In Defense of Drug Use (2003) which Mother Jones Magazine described as “a healthy dose of sober talk in a debate dominated by yelping dopes.” He received numerous awards such as the Keystone Press Award for investigative reporting and won first prize in the Felix Morley Memorial Journalism Competition.
