Winston Churchill and the Free Market

Dinner with ANDREW ROBERTS, historian, biographer and best-selling author.

Andrew Roberts is a historian and public intellectual. He has written and edited twelve books such as The Storm of War and Masters & Commanders. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, an Honorary Member of the International Churchill Society (UK), a Trustee of the Margaret Thatcher Archive Trust and of the Roberts Foundation and Director of the Harry Guggenheim Foundation.

The topic of his talk was: "Winston Churchill and the Free Market." Dr. Roberts revealed a side of Churchill that few appreciate - Churchill the economic thinker - and drew some lessons for our own time.
