> Institute for Liberal Studies

The Institute for Liberal Studies is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to promoting discussions of classical liberal thought in areas such as economics, philosophy, history and public policy. It offers educational seminars in order to foster discussion about ideas and public policies in a non-partisan environment.

The MEI encourages Canadian students to participate in these seminars by offering two up-to $300 travel grants to cover part of the cost involved in getting to and back from the seminar where the student has been admitted. The contributions will be attributed on a "first come, first served" basis. To take advantage of this opportunity, please first contact the ILS and follow their normal registration procedure. Once your admission has been confirmed, please contact Jasmin Guénette at 514 273-0969 or by e-mail to make arrangements for the payment of the contribution.

> Institute for Humane Studies

The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) offers free seminars to students from around the world. These one-week seminars take place on various university campuses in the U. S. They are particularly interesting for students interested in the idea of liberty and in discussing social and political issues.

The MEI encourages Canadian students to participate in these seminars by offering a up-to $300 travel grant to the transportation costs involved in getting to and back from the seminar where the student has been admitted. The contributions will be attributed on a "first come, first served" basis. To take advantage of this opportunity, please first contact the IHS and follow their normal registration procedure. Once your admission has been confirmed, please contact Jasmin Guénette at 514 273-0969 or by e-mail to make arrangements for the payment of the contribution.
